These divorce resources are offered free of charge as a service to those who are seeking quality information about divorce and family law in California & Nevada.
In both states, a divorce can be granted on essentially the same no-fault grounds: “irreconcilable differences” in California and “incompatibility in marriage” in Nevada. The issue of fault finds its way into the legal system in very limited cases – where there has been some financial fault or improper financial behaviour on one spouse’s part – and it is generally only an issue in property division.
